Hi, my name is Mike. I live in Brooklyn but I love to travel and I spend a lot of time in the Hudson Valley. I've been a professional animator for over 17 years and I've worked on every type of project under the sun. I particularly love working on music videos and film titles. Anything graphic heavy with lots to move around, I'm all over. I've led teams and work directly with clients, however, head down making keyframes is where I'm happiest.
I came to the US at a young age from the Soviet Union and I mostly grew up in the suburbs of Baltimore where I learned to love Old Bay and pretend to love football. We had a beautiful black dog named Chupchik growing up and I now live with 2 cats. I still hang out with dogs all the time and I love all animals.
I co-founded cocktail brand Shaker & Spoon and grew it from concept to acquisition in February 2025. I'm currently working on a candle company in my spare time while animating fun things.
